Recently, one of our account managers Patty took over a client account. At ZümiFi we believe in providing a new account manager an opportunity to review the account thoroughly to ensure they are up to speed on the account, it’s history, and it’s needed. In reviewing this client account, Patty noticed that a payment processed to a vendor via Bill.com had been dated for Dec 2019! What? That means the payment was “processed” but wasn’t actually scheduled to be sent out until the end of this year.
Now, this is a really easy error for our client to have made. But because Patty noticed this, and then immediately reached out to the client we were able to realize this was likely an issue. Patty then reached out to the vendor, who hadn’t noticed that she hadn’t been paid yet! (perhaps she would like a good bookkeeping service to help her track her receivables? LOL). The vendor was appreciative, the client was grateful for the attention to his account, and Patty proved again why she is a rock star at ZümiFi!
